Welcome to the website of the East Cooper Breakfast Rotary Club. We are located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and although relatively new (founded in 1996) we have quickly become one of the most decorated clubs in one of the best Rotary districts in the world. I am proud of our diverse and energetic membership and all that we have accomplished on the local, district, and international levels. We have a lot of exciting news about our activities in Charleston. Please take a few minutes to browse this website and see what we have been up to and what we have planned. If you have any questions about our club please do not hesitate to contact us. You are always welcome to join us at our breakfast meeting every Tuesday morning. We are at Zeus Restaurant just off Johnnie Dodds Blvd/Highway 17 in Mt Pleasant, just across the new Cooper River Bridge. A map and directions are available on this site and/or by clicking here. Our meetings begin at 7:30 am and end promptly at 8:30. I hope to see you there.
Thank you to all who are working so hard to make this a success.
Yours in Rotary,
Wayne Cassaday

4/21-This is a picture of Ugochi Christopher after today's procedure. She did very, very well through it all and so did Momma. You can tell the level of success of this delicate procedure by the smiles of Mom and the nurse. Ugochi's blood oxygen level is 100% and she may have the breathing tube removed by 5 pm.
Jenny is back at my house, very tired & will sleep like a rock tonight. We will go back tomorrow morning & later in the day may have an idea of when Ugochi may go up to a regular room.
4/22- We arrived at the hospital this morning to find that Oguchi had a wonderful night, has had many tubes removed but best of all is scheduled to go up to 7C in Childrens Hospital later this afternoon. The only hesitation is that her blood pressure was a bit low last night which required a medication adjustment. The pressure is now back to normal & expected to stay there. Her oxygen level remains at 100%. She is now watching the Littlest Mermaid and talking with Momma & Allie her nurse. This child can talk now! And talk etc.
